Who is Emily?
Born in Platteville Wisconsin, I came to Green Bay in 2020 to pursue a college degree after falling in love with the campus during a music camp. Within the first few days of my first semester, I discovered a flyer for a graphic design internship on campus and decided to try my luck. I was thrilled to work on campus for the Housing and Residential Education department, where I slowly began to discover my passion for graphic design. After 2 years of teaching myself how to use Adobe Creative Suite, I made the decision to switch my major from music to design arts in order to pursue a future in graphic design where my skills and creativity could thrive.
Now with over four years of graphic design experience, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Design Arts, I am eager to expand my horizons and step into a new role that presents fresh challenges and opportunities for growth. Throughout my educational and professional career, I have gained valuable experience collaborating within diverse teams of varying sizes, seamlessly integrating with multiple departments to bring a singular project to fruition, as well as thriving in situations where I completed designs independently. I look forward to seeing what new challenges and opportunities await me in the near future.
